Trkmansko Veltliner Green late harvest 2021

The grapes come from the Velkopavlovice wine sub-region, the wine-growing village of Rakvice, the Trkmansko vineyard from old (“wise”) vines (35 years old). The grapes are processed by controlled fermentation technology using two types of neutral yeasts. A total of 10% of the volume of this wine was fermented and aged for 9 months in a Francois Freres MTG M+ -TH Rare second-fill barrel. The wine is light green in colour, ripe yellow fruit on the nose and palate, a subtly arrested tone on the nose but promising aromas with a quick onset of tropical flavours, baked pear and yellow melon, excellent acidity, full finish with fine tannins, a wine at the beginning of its evolution.

Recommended for freshwater fish, asparagus dishes, vegetable salads.
