Vineyard track of Stará hora

This vineyard, located about 5 km from the winery, is located in a beautiful, southeast, sloping position with about 18% slope from the road to Týnec towards the Kyjovka river, with amazing views of the Slovak Carpathians. The vineyard was gradually planted from 1995 to 2003. The altitude ranges from 161 to 197 meters above sea level. Soil composition is very diverse – on such a small area we have a sample of several types of soil that appear in this area. In the lower part of the hill there are loess soils, in the upper part of the lower third there is a strip of impermeable white calcareous clays with shells, perhaps evidence of the ancient presence of the sea. A fertile brown to black soil strip follows and at the very top of the hill there are yellow sands. The total area of the vineyard is 0.6 hectares and we grow these varieties there:

• Pinot noir
• Merlot
• Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine municipality of Mikulčice

Vineyard track of Kněžské

The vineyards are located northwest of the village of Mikulčice, about 1 km from the winery and are oriented in a southeast and southwest direction. They were planted gradually from 1986 to 2022. The altitude ranges from 187 to 190 metres above sea level. The soils are loess or loamy-sandy in places, interrupted by wide strips of very fertile brown earth to black earth. The total area of the vineyard is 1.4 hectares and the following varieties are grown here:

• Chardonnay
• Sauvignon
• Pinot gris
• Traminer
• Donauriesling (2022)
