Pinot noir RESERVE, selection of grapes, dry, Magnum, 2015

1497  Incl. VAT

The grapes come from the vineyard with reduced yield, being one of the best clones of this variety, number 777. They are processed by controlled fermentation technology including malolactic fermentation and further aging in new barrique barrels from French oak Alier, made specifically for this variety, for 28 months. Wine of dark brick red color, intense aroma with tones of ripe to dried stone fruit, damson cheese, pomegranate with very pleasant tones of caramel and wood. Full juicy taste with excellent structure of sweet tannins. The wine is beautifully velvety in its aftertaste with fresh acidity and distinctive minerality, which is a prerequisite for long-term aging and further positive development. A bouquet of overripe and transformed dark forest fruit, gingerbread with plum jam in chocolate, accompanies the freshly baked blackberry pie.

Recommendation:

Perfect with venison pate, pheasant on wine with steamed root vegetables and potato puree. Ideal with Camembert cheeses and mushroom dishes. It can also be served without meals, in specific wide glasses, to support the quiet admiration of its aroma and composition, and to meditate with friends.
