Kněžské, Sauvignon, sur-lie, late harvest, dry, 2020

337  Incl. VAT

Grapes from the Kněžská vineyard in the wine-growing village of Mikulčice with a very reduced harvest. The wine was fermented and aged for 11 months on all yeasts without the addition of sulphur in barriques made of French oak with a very fine grain of Francois Freres wood. The wine is light greenish-yellow in colour, with aromas that move from notes of elderflower, gooseberry, kiwi, blackcurrant, to hints of pomelo, freshly cut flowering meadow or asparagus. Full-bodied, rich flavours, with thiol undertones, zero residual sugar, a velvety creamy aftertaste and fine acidity.

Recommendation:

With fresh goat cheese or poultry sausages. Very suitable with oysters and seafood, goat cheese or various oriental specialities with shrimps or poultry. Also suitable with seasonal asparagus.
