Kněžské, Pinot Gris sur-lie, late harvest, dry, 2020

Grapes from the Kněžská vineyard in the wine-growing village of Mikulčice with a reduced harvest. The wine was fermented and aged for 11 months on all yeasts without the addition of sulphur in Seguin Moreau M+ Classique barriques made of French oak and Ermitage Bertrange M barrels with completed malolactic fermentation with pure bacterial cultures. The wine is golden yellow in colour with pink highlights, with pronounced fruity notes, a subtle orange hint on the palate, combined with honeyed, subtle cinnamon and egg cask. The long ageing on yeast has given the wine a fullness and creamy smoothness. A wine with harmonious acidity and fine minerality.

Recommendation:

For thick spicy dishes or fish specialities. It is also suitable for poultry and soups.
