Kněžské chardonnay barrique 2021

397  Incl. VAT

The grapes come from the Kněžská vineyard in the wine-growing village of Mikulčice with a heavily reduced harvest. They are processed by controlled fermentation technology using neutral yeasts. It was fermented and matured for 11 months in ERMITAGE BERTRANGE BERTRANGE M+ TH, BERTHOMIEU M, BERTHOMIEU M+ TH and MERCUREY ST HAUTE FUTAIE barrels, where controlled malolactic fermentation also took place. The wine is golden yellow in colour, with a distinctive aroma and flavour of overripe fruit, apricot, peach and spices, with a subtle touch of wood underlined by notes of brioche. Very well structured acids with a medium-long finish and very good persistence. A wine with great potential, on the rise in quality.

Recommendation:

Recommended for sauces, including creamed sirloin, freshwater fish, salmon with hollandaise sauce.
