Betonnay, late harvest, semidry, 2016

This is Chardonnay late harvest 2016, matured for 20 months in a special concrete tank, patented by the Italian company Nico Velo. A special type of concrete from selected Italian gravel balances the acidic wine tones in an interesting way, supports minerality of the wine and enriches it with a trace of fresh carbon dioxide. Wine of green-yellow to golden color with intense, full, harmonic aroma and taste of pear, mango, acacia, citrus fruits and hazelnut, with a fine trace of fresh carbon dioxide. The acid is significantly harmonized with a slight residual sugar.

Recommendation:

Best with cream sauces, stewed veal with carrot and potato puree, harder, slightly ripe cheeses.
